Library Facilities/Spaces
The library houses ≈ 2000 print resources and provides access to a wide range of online resources, including e-books, e-journals, e-databases, and e-archives. These resources support and enhance learning, teaching, and research, promoting improved productivity and high-quality scholarly outputs. Researchers and faculty can remotely access the library's digital resources through Open Athens software, using their learner.manipal.edu or manipal.edu accounts.
The library is fully Wi-Fi enabled and features a CCTV security system at the entrance. All library resources and services are fully automated using KOHA, a library management software. Users can conveniently search the library's collection through the WEB-OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue).
The library offers advanced research support services, including access to Scopus, Web of Science, Journal Citation Reports (JCR), Turnitin for plagiarism checking, grammar-checking tools, reference management software, and other cutting-edge services.
The MCNS library provides a dedicated space for researchers, designed to offer natural light and a pleasing learning environment. Additionally, it features a reference and reading area equipped with Wi-Fi for library patrons.
